Yep, you read that right. I was in the minority vote, so we moved back to Oklahoma. The husband and daughter just weren't happy in beachy paradise. They missed the family and friends we have back here ... I mean, I did too, but living in paradise kind of made up for it. Lol. Oh well, it is what it is.
So we're back in the heartland. We've purchased a house and have settled in. I'm back to writing most days; "Beneath the Willow" (the rewrite of "Dies Irae") is almost complete. I'm working on the edits now. I hope to have it available by summer. Cross your fingers.
If you didn't see the news blurb, I will be posting the first three chapters for reader input. I need to know whether people can follow with the history spread out in those chapters. I'll also explain in detail why I'm rewriting another book.
The short version is I'm no longer an anime-obsessed weaboo, which is what inspired a lot of the character actions in the original "Dies Irae." Plus ... that title is so lame now that I'm older.
Anyway, keep an eye out for the long version of the explanation and the first three chapters. I'll probably have them up by the weekend.
